Rapidly expanding earthmoving works following the 1953 flooding of the Netherlands. The Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier has been called one of the 7th wonders of the world. Jac Rijk carried out all the dry earthworks. From the beginning of the construction of the work sites in the Eastern Scheldt to the construction of the sand dunes and beaches.

Establishment of Jac Rijk Africa, based in Dar es Salaam. They focus on limestone quarrying in Tanzania.
After founding subsidiary Zwaar Transport Zeeland B.V. in 1978 and ZTZ Services in 2014, we continue under one company name: 'ZTZ Logistics B.V'.
